  ETS - Software, The Who?

.:  ETS - Software tends to sound like a group of people because I throw around the word "we" allot,  but in all reality it is just one person, and my name is Cody or, if you've known me for a short while, Codiah. I do pretty much everything here from work on the project to maintain the website and provide an outlet for other talented and or curious individuals to work and discuss their various projects and plans.

  How it all got started:

.:  Believe it or not ETS - Software got started on a dare, or more a you can't do it kind of dare, a dare initialized by somewhere around a dozen IT fellows from a tech support forum somewhere in the recesses of the world wide web. It all started with a conversation about batch scripting and its powers and limitations, the conversation quickly tilting the scales towards the side of limitations. During the midst of all of easy argument a question was posed about making a game out of batch scripting and was quickly bombarded with the limitations of the scripting language and why this would not be possible, so on a haphazard dare from a dozen IT fellows as mentioned before, I started out on my quest to prove them wrong and started the project now known as "Curbside Prophet" a game who's functionality and mechanics are based entirely and purly out of batch script. I have since overcome allot of the limitations that were given by the IT group and have even had the satisfaction of having many of those individuals admit I've made it much further than they thought possible. But all in all the best part of it is, I'm still going and still overcoming the remaining challenges of this basic language with some heavy thought and ingenuity.

  How it will end:

.:  That is a wonderful question, however I have yet to produce the answer to it. So perhaps you would care to stick around and see.
